I hope you catch a sunny fish

Welcome to my blog. I love being outside, especially when I get to go fishing. I love children’s books and working with the elderly. I will share stories, suggestions and resources, and include some guest posts from Sara because sometimes she is funny.

“I hope you catch a sunny fish” is a phrase I heard multiple times while fishing with one of my favorite four year olds over the summer. She would smile and wave to the other boats. We had such a great day catching no fish. We spent time outside, it was a beautiful day, we saw wild life, and even better- we stopped for ice cream on the way home.

It’s not just about catching fish. There is so much more.
